Balancing space in the joints between the bones of the limbs and between the vertebra of the spinal column happens during a Biodynamic treatment partly because the practitioner understands the shapes (the form) of every bone in the body and how they function together in movement. There is a very particular rhythm that occurs between each bone shape when it is unhampered by injury or stress. The practitioner is seeking coherence in these rhythms of the bones and the relative movement of the bones to all other motilities (internal rhythms) of the body as a whole.
By studying the coherence of the movements of our developmental movement patterns the skilled practitioner knows the feeling of how these rhythms were formed and how they produce an even distribution of work/effort/energy . By listening for the dynamics of movement that are inherent in how it moved in order to form the practitioner waits for this intelligence to get re-established if it has been disturbed.
Therefore alignment really has to do with optimal efficiency for movement so that there is both stability and freedom of motion.

THE MAGIC OF FASCIA
Fascial connective tissue provides a sleeve for every organ , bone , nerve , etc.…all forms in the body…if we dipped the body into a vat of something that dissolved everything except the fascia we would have a map of all individuated parts. It both divides and integrates all other tissues and provides them with a semi-viscous lubricating surface . We have independence of movement of all parts because of the fascia.
The “body electric” the “energy “meridians” follows the fascial sleeves as the path of least resistance HOWEVER it can become resistant and too sticky rather than soft and fluid. Fascia becomes scar tissue when we are injured and it then has a biological function of being like an inner bandage/casting creating a temporary less mobile form so that the area can be better supported as it heals . After this period of time it needs slow reintroduction to its original movement. In its more rigid state it is attempting to become a more stable support.
The layers of fascia will respond to pressure/friction and become more gel like from pressure/friction as in a therapy such as Rolfing and it will also restore to its more fluid state when better hydrated by drinking more water and hydrating supplements. The magic of fascia is that it will release like water between two sheets of glass given the right “entry” :approach” ‘angle of entry ‘ regard … listening touch . It is a very transformative substance and it connects our inner feelings with our outer expression. It is responsive . We are responsive. Our inner experience contained by membranous layers has a myriad of ways of being expressed. We are biodynamic we are holotropic . Lest we forget we must remember. RE-MEMBER our membranous whole.

The endocrine system and the nervous system are both information signal systems.
The nervous system uses nerves to conduct information and the endocrine system uses blood vessels as information channels. Endocrine literally means direct secretion into the bloodstream. The balance or imbalance of what is called hormonal regulation influences all of the cells of the body.
The endocrine glands underlie our abilities to perceive from various energy centers of the body to tap into a knowing that is not of the logical thought process. We have an ability to be in a low tone energy state or a hyper energy state from each center or to bridge all the hormonal producing energy centers with a general awareness of radiant fullness that is a balance of all the centers. A biodynamic process of settled silent stillness arises by bridging the chaotic eddies of informational clogs . Our ability to perceive scattered flashes of insight has an opportunity to transform beyond scattered flashes into a body of congruent wholeness of universal life force thus restoring our innate ability to self regulate in a long tide reservoir of wholeness.
A practitioner familiar with residing in this long tide reservoir can facilitate the harmonizing of blips of currenting fragments that can be streamlined back to fullness. I use the word fullness to mean the smaller eddies of vortexing fluidic forces have no impasses all is one in the ocean of consciousness and all layers of fluidic systems of the body. The trickling steams ( local vortexes of an area in the body ) become rivers ( dynamic currenting between various systems of the body ) that confluence into the ocean (long tide biodynamic currents ) All compensations whether on a physical level and emotional level or a spiritual level are able to tune into the unified field of your restorative reservoir.

The proper functioning of the lymphatic system is critical to our body's ability to detoxify and regenerate tissues, filter out toxins and foreign substances, recover crucial substances that have escaped from the blood, and maintain a healthy immune system. It's a complex system comprised primarily of vessels and lymph nodes working in cooperation to accomplish these tasks.
Unlike the circulatory system, which uses the pumping of the heart to circulate its blood flow, lymph vessels rely upon hundreds of tiny muscular units contracting throughout the body to propel the lymph. These contractions enable the lymph vessels to transport numerous substances (i.e., proteins, toxins, hormones, fatty acids, immune cells) to the lymph nodes, which can then eliminate the waste. The action of these muscular units can be hindered or stopped, however, due to fatigue, stress, emotional shock, cold temperatures, infections, lack of physical activity, age, chemicals or food additives. When the lymph circulation stagnates, fluids, proteins, cells and toxins accumulate and cellular functioning is significantly comprised. This opens the way to many physical ailments and hastens the aging process.
Lymphatic drainage is a hands-on technique designed to activate and cleanse this human fluid system. It's origins can be traced to two traditions in particular: the published research of Frederic Millard, a Canadian osteopathic physician (1922) and Emil Vodder, a Danish massage practitioner and doctor of philosophy (1932). Over the years, methods based on the discoveries of these two pioneers have been honed, refined and explained. Today, lymphatic drainage techniques are employed as standard scientific practice throughout Europe and are gaining greater recognition and use within the American health care community.

Each organ system carries its own brand of chi, which allows it to perform its unique physical as well as energetic functions. There is an inter-relationship between the organs, an energetic dance of motilities that orchestrate volumetric structural and energetic support for all the bodily biochemical functions such as digestion but also of overall tone for how we move and sit and stand as a positional moving body of expression. By following this inherent motility of the organs and listening to the functional movement within the organ itself the organ responds with a fuller amplitude of what it is capable of performing . Each organ should be cogwheeling opposite in motility from its neighbouring organs to have rhythmic coherence in the organ system as a whole. Each organ assists its neighbours to achieve their fullness of action in this orchestrated cogwheeling action of motilities.
Every organ with the exception of the kidneys (which are suspended in a web of capillaries) are attached to bones via ligaments. By following the movement of bones (bone rhythms inherent in the bones and between the bones) and by tracking bones to organs ,organs to bones the fullness of buoyant support from within is remembered and so our overall postural tone is plumped up and vibrant. In this way posture is not a doing of muscular efforts but instead an inherent place to rest upon natural volumetric tone from within. The ligaments will feel chewy rather than dry and hardened whet het are exchanging the energies from the organs to the bones.
Wow what a beautiful exchange of energies this can be.

The embryological stages of tissues becoming differentiated layers of our anatomy/ our physiology are all movement processes of vortexing form. By following how these vortexes emerge we can find where there have been interruptions in the dynamic of flow where the tissues got thrown out of sync. Development is not a linear process but occurs in overlapping waves with each stage containing elements of the other.
We are a holistic process therefore by tracking into the formation, the growing spirals and by noticing where the interruptions are we can offer the overlapping systems an opportunity to resynchronize both physically and perceptually . In placing a seed of consciousness of our cyclical dynamics of growing through condensing and expanding phases of toroidal spiraling a bridge of new INFORMATION is provided. This new INFORMATION RE-INFORMS the kink in the spiral to smooth it out and to establish more efficient movement pathways and fullness.
The fullness of this toroidal force establishes a more versatile way of expressing in movement and in gestures, balancing in to out and out to in and this in turn rebalances relationship to others.
This approach can be helpful for incomplete development in our young developmental stages and is profoundly useful for sudden traumas to the body/mind.

The social engagement system includes the nerves regulating the face and the myelinated vagus regulating the heart and bronchi. It has effects on our behavior and mental states.
Social interaction can have the effect of making us feel safe or feel threatened feeling hypervigilant or trapped happens when we are unable to turn off the primitive brain structures that regulate defense survival mechanism strategies based on past relational experiences
Our higher brain centers must be consciously recruited to modulate so that we can choose the neural circuit that promotes social behaviors when it is deemed to be a way of staying present so that we are able to develop a way of relating and to move through fear to orient in:
• Social organization
• Breath, prosody,vocalization
• Interaction and reciprocal play
• Contact and communication
Is a choice. An evolved choice without overriding a disturbed feeling an uneasy feeling is an art of acknowledging our past experience yet exercising our willingness to engage our uninhibited circulation by first resourcing into a stillpoint within.
Our role as practitioners of uninhibited circulation biodynamically speaking is to bring forward dynamic equilibrium in relationship to another by providing safe quiet listening through touch language love listening and eye contact
